Live Events & Promotion Level 2 Apprenticeship at Strode College

Course description

There has been a growth in live outdoor and special events, often on a very grand scale, for example Glastonbury and Proms in the Park. Live events can be indoors or outdoors, one off events or tours. With this Apprenticeship you could learn about setting up live events for artists and provide administrative support for events.

This Apprenticeship Framework covers areas such as assisting with:

  • publicity
  • production of press releases
  • booking procedures
  • sales. 

Each Apprenticeship Framework includes its own specific qualifications for the role and area of business that you work in, but all Apprenticeship Frameworks include Functional Skills in English and Maths and Employment Rights and Responsibilities.

Entry requirements

The level of Apprenticeship you can undertake will depend on your current skills and qualifications and the role offered by the employer.
