Course description

Biology is the scientific exploration of the vast and diverse world of living organisms; an exploration that has expanded enormously within the last four decades revealing a wealth of knowledge about ourselves and about the millions of other organisms with whom we share this planet. Today biological research worldwide spans an almost infinite spectrum of studies from molecules to landscapes. In the Biology and Human Biology courses you will study topics including anatomy, physiology, genetics, evolution, taxonomy, ecology and microbiology. There is 50% overlap between the two courses and you should look carefully at the specifications to see which course is most suitable for you.
