Computing at St Paul's Catholic College
Strong and competent IT skills are essential in practically all industries and open up a wealth of career opportunities.The aims of the computing course are to encourage students to develop the capacity to think creatively, innovatively, analytically, logically and critically. Students will gain an understanding of the organisation of computer systems including software, hardware, data, communication and people.
You will develop the ability to apply skills, knowledge and understanding of computing, including programming, in a range of contexts to solve problems. You will be taught about project management and effective communication with an awareness of emerging technologies and an appreciation of their potential impact on society.
