Course description

The course is designed to prepare you for entry onto mainstream Level 2 courses across the College.

Course content

Subjects / Modules include:

  • Speaking and Listening
  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Grammar

English and Maths are an essential part of your studies and will help you succeed on your course. These subjects will help you develop confidence and are the key employability skills that all employers now look for when recruiting.

Entry requirements

You will need to complete an initial assessment or have a Level 1 qualification in English.

Assessment

Assessments are taken at the end of each term.

Successful completion of the course will increase your employability and allow you to proceed to main stream courses across the colleges.
