Elite Training Systems Yorkshire (ETSY) is a training provider that delivers a range of vocational courses as well as delivering PSD and Functional Skills in English and Maths.
We have an excellent track record of achievement and our learners progress on to the next level either with us, or to college, another training establishment or on to an apprenticeship or employment.
Our Pontefract centre is situated next to Carleton High School and it has large outdoor areas including a football field.It is 30 mins walk from Pontefract town centre or you can get a bus to Chequerfield Circle and then it is a 15 min walk to the centre.
Engagement and Enrolment:
Enrolement paperwork, command tasks, mini taster sessions in different vocational areas, team buiding activities and tutorials.
E3 Certificate in Vocational Studies 500/9135/9
There are two mandatory units : Self Assessment & Career Progression
You will then complete units in the following vocational areas:
Horticulture Cooking Construction and Motor
Functional Skills E1-L1 Englah and Maths
Course days : Monday Tuesday Thursday
Course Times: 9am-3pm
Not achieved 5 GCSE A*C including Maths and English
* You may still join the course if you have acieved 5 GCSE including Maths and English depending on the circumstances
Inital Assessment at the start and end of the programme to see what level you are working at and your progress and achievement at the end of the programme.
This is avaialbe for you to apply depending on your home and personal situation. You need to have your own bank account .
This is avaialbe if you meet the criteria . Ypu will recieve weekely payments into your bank to enable you to buy lunches. You need you own bank account.
This course finishes w/c 9th Feb 2015 and you can then progress on to the L1 Ext Certificate in Vocational Studies or our E3 Award in Introduction to Vehicle Technology at our Wakefield Centre.
Alternatively you can progress on to one of our ESF programmes, a E3/L1 course in a specific vocational area at college, training establishment, or into employment with training.
Extra support is available including 1:1 support if needed
Support and guidance given throughout the programme and with progression at the end of the programme.
