Accounting Level 3 Diploma at Accrington and Rossendale College

Course description

AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting is the intermediate level of the AAT Accounting Qualification and offers technical training in accounting. The main purpose of Level 3 is to provide you with specialist knowledge and skills to gain employment in an accounting role and/or the opportunity to progress to further qualifications in accountancy or a related field. At the intermediate level, you will master more complex financial
processes, including final accounts for sole traders and partnerships, reports and returns and professional ethics.

Entry requirements

Completion of AAT Certificate in Accounting Level 2. Students can begin at Level 3 if they have significant experience in accounting, take the AAT skills test at www.aat.org.uk and are assessed ready for level 3 and successfully complete the College assessment and interview.

Financial information

This course is free of charge for 16 – 18 year olds.

This course will cost a maximum of £1,987 for learners aged 19 years old or above. This fee may be reduced or void depending on the individual’s circumstances. The cost of the course includes, the college enrolment fee, AAT registration fee, the provision of text books and exam fees (excluding resits).

Future opportunities

Successful completion of the Certificate stage will permit progression to the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting.
