• Management of health and safety
• Quality management within hair and beauty sector
• Sales management within the hair and
beauty sector
• Public relations (PR) within the hair and
beauty sector
• Salon management
• Salon design
• Marketing in the hair and beauty sector
• Human resource management within the hair and beauty sector
• Functional skills in maths and English (if you are age 16-18)

Entry requirements

  • through a range of observations and written assessments
  • as this is a rigorous course of study you will be required to complete a large amount of work away from college
  • a work placement within the hair and beauty industry will be required - if you are not working in a salon a position will be found for you
