Business & Administration is about being organised, communicating effectively, teamwork and getting things done. All organisations, both public and private sector, need enthusiastic and motivated people at all levels.
Often companies prefer to promote internally than recruit from outside so this can be a great route to advancement.
The level 2 Apprenticeship will give you the necessary skills to carry out the activities expected of you – with some guidance and supervision. You will be expected to know and understand both the practical and theoretical aspects of the work.
Generally the work is office-based and increasingly involves computers. Usual office activities include: typing, emailing, arranging meetings, making phone calls, and producing documents. There is a demand for these skills in almost all parts of an organisation. You could become, for example, a Legal Secretary, an Events manager, a Project Manager or an Office Manager.
Knowledge based units
A Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration. You will need to complete core skills and optional units to the value of 21 credits (9 credits from 4 mandatory unts and 12 credits from optional units)
