Course description

Are you great with children, have a caring nature and able to communicate with all ages?

This Apprenticeship which teaches all the aspects of caring for children and young people lasts one year and includes a minimum of 30 hours paid employment and training. Not only will you finish with a Diploma, you’ll also acquire excellent key skills, get qualified in Maths, English and IT and gain first-hand experience working with children. vanced Apprenticeship L3.

Course content

You will develop the foundation and professional skills to work with Children & Young People in a variety of different settings. Areas covered include keeping children safe and preparing and maintaining environments to support children’s varying needs.

Financial information

Starts at £2.68 per hour but may be higher depending on the employer.
