About the course

Three days a week will be spent with an employer and two days a week you will be studying at Norton. Whilst you are at work you will have regular visits from your college tutor who will help you achieve an NVQ Level 2 qualification in sport and active leisure by demonstrating your skills and knowledge. You will need a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check.
At college you will work towards a technical certificate in sport and will be expected to study Functional Skills in Maths or English where necessary and, depending on your workplace, will have the opportunity to study for additional National Governing Body Awards in sport.
