The Castleford Campus (previously known as the skillsXchange) houses the College’s provision in Construction, Motor Vehicle, Engineering, Hair and Beauty, IT and some Care and replaces the training which was previously offered at the College’s Whitwood Campus.

Located at Junction 32 of the M62 between Castleford and Pontefract, the site is well known for Xscape, the indoor ski slope whose building houses a 14-screen cinema, bowling alley, climbing wall, sports facilities and restaurants. The Campus is situated directly next to the Asda in Glasshoughton.

A learning resource centre, equipped with the very latest in technology, is a superb place for individual study, or to relax and use the internet. The Centre overlooks the large external courtyard, where students can mix, mingle and chill.

In state-of-the-art hair and beauty salons, including a nail bar, we are training the next generation of hairdressers and beauticians. These professional salons offer live training environments to our students, with treatments for both men and women available at affordable prices. There are also industry standard facilities for the study of construction and engineering, motor vehicle and electrical courses.
