Photography AS/A2 at Honiton Community College
This course is based upon practical work, which will develop a working knowldege of materials, practices and technology. It will also enable students to interpret and convey their knowledge, feelings and ideas in creative and imagineative ways. At A level (year 2) there is a compulsory written element of 1000-3000 words. Each student decides on their own theme or topic, however, it must relate to, and inform their coursework. Visits and working with artists also contribute to the areas of study. You will be expected to work for long periods outside of the studio on your own work.
Minimum C grade at GCSE Photography is required, as A Level Photography forms part of a structured continuum of Art education
