Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship at Totton College

Course description

We work with employers to help young people gain the right skills through qualifications, apprenticeships and training programmes. These apprenticeships are for you if you want to progress into a job in a customer-facing organisation such as a call centre.

Course content

Depending on the level of apprenticeship, you could train as:

  • customer service representative
  • customer service assistant
  • customer service trainee
  • customer service representative

You’ll learn a combination of theory and practical skills to demonstrate your understanding and competence in the workplace. Daily activities could be:

  • handling phones and post
  • creating business documents
  • dealing with customers
  • handling complaints
  • doing business in a customer-friendly way

Assessment

You’ll be assessed through assignments or a portfolio.

Future opportunities

On successful completion, you will be equipped to progress into a job in your chosen area. The apprenticeship employer will also give you a reference that shows your next employer that you’ve got the required skills.
