Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Apprenticeship Level 2 at City College Coventry

Course description

Heavy Good Vehicles spend long periods on the road and play a vital role in transporting goods across the country and beyond. Maintaining HGVs to keep them on the road is vital to businesses. Apprentices will learn about servicing, inspections, fault finding, diagnostic work along with the removal and repair and replacement of components by using the latest equipment and technology whether at the roadside or in a workshop.

This apprenticeship will work on a day/block release, and can either be carried out on a full-time or part-time basis.

Entry requirements

You need to be employed in a relevant role to join an Apprenticeship programme plus:

4 GCSEs Grade C or above, including English & maths

or a relevant Level 2 qualification at Merit Level combined with GCSE/Level 2 English & Maths
