Music AS/A2 at Tewkesbury School

Course description

A Level Music is designed to give you the opportunity to develop into a confident, creative musician. The course is structured to provide experience in three different areas of music: Performing, Composing and Listening.

There is flexibility to allow for individual strengths and interests in the creative aspects of the course and there is a wealth of extra-curricular opportunities on offer. It will prepare you for further musical study and give you a secure grounding in creative musicianship. You will be expected to work hard within the Music department, but we anticipate that you will also enjoy your musical studies.

Entry requirements

C in GCSE Music; C in GCSE English.
