Level 3 Apprenticeship - Children & Young People's Workforce at E Quality Training Ltd

Course description

After completion of the Level 2 Childcare full-time course/apprenticeship, you can progress onto the Level 3.

Students attend training one day per week.  Both practical aspects and underpinning knowledge of the Children and Young People's Workforce are taught using a variety of teaching methods:

  • Class-based sessions
  • Role-play
  • Demonstrations
  • Professional Discussions
  • Observations
  • Interactive knowledge checks

Students are required to demonstrate both knowledge and competence to their assessor through a variety of assessment methods. 

 

Entry requirements

Candidates must have completed a Level 2 qualification in childcare or social care. It is important that you have achieve GCSE grades, or equivalent in English, Maths and ICT.

Assessment

Assessments/observations take place in the workplace, these are arranged by our assessor.

Financial information

You will be paid the NMW for an apprentice.  This will be paid by your employer.

If you are 16-19, then your course is fully-funded.

Future opportunities

For this qualification, we can move into employment as well as on to another related vocational course or progress to Higher Education. This courses is ideal if you have a burning ambition to work with children.
