Dance - AS / A level at Kesgrave High School
A Level Dance is a course devoted to the skills of a dancer. Dancers will be required to train, perform, build on their physical and interpretative skills, attend classes, keep healthy and rehearse. Dance students need to enjoy creating, engaging, experimenting with, improvising and analysing choreographic processes.
The course also embraces theoretical understanding and students will learn about professional artists, the history of dance and how the body moves. And, of course, it goes without saying that students who select this course simply LOVE to dance!
Through PRACTICAL, PRACTICAL, PRACTICAL and THEORY!
Our teaching aims to develop technique, creativity and appreciation of dance as an art form. You will be engaged, inspired and challenged.
