Course description

Chemistry is a fascinating subject and students with a wide range of interests choose it. The teaching and learning of this course is varied and wide ranging, practical investigations are obviously important, butother activities such as discussion, individual project work and group tasks help develop skills that will be useful in future education and employment.

The course is split into 3 units. Unit 1 - Foundation Chemistry. Unit 2 - Chemistry in Action. Unit 3 - Practical assessment

Grade B or above in Science GCSE

Assessment is through examination and practical assessment.
