Customer Service CG Diploma Level 3 at Cornwall College

Course description

Ideal if: you have customer service experience and want to progress in your role. You'll learn how to respond to customer issues at a strategic level, suggest improvments to customer service strategy, and help in the implementation.

You'll need: to have significant responsibility for the delivery of both internal and external customer service within your team or organisation. You will work in a role where you can demonstrate an ability to analyse and respond to customers on a strategic level, suggest improvements and lead in their implementation.

You'll learn: to develop your understanding of how customer service delivery affects customer expectations, and how the customer service process can be improved through customer feedback and effective teamwork.

Expect: to be assessed in the workplace by an industry qualified assessor, by observations and one-to-one tuition.

You'll love: the transferable skills this qualification gives you, giving you an advantage in almost any industry, as good customer service skills are essential for many jobs.

You'll go onto: employment or university study.

Course content

This programme is delivered:

  1. Within the workplace by a qualified assessor
  2. One unit will be delivered in college more details available upon request
  3. Self study will be required by using a workbook

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for this pathway in addition to the general framework entry requirements.  However, it is likely that advanced apprentices will have some prior experience in a customer service role to allow them to complete the advanced apprenticeship, although this is not a formal requirement.
