Course description

The course is available to young people via our 16-18 Headstart Programme. 

Course content

As part of the course you will explore a range of vocational taster sessions to enable you to determine the best career choice for you. You will also develop key employability skills such as interview techniques, effective CV writing, telephone techniques, etc.  

You will be guided through your course by qualified tutors and assessors who will support you in your learning and advise you of onward progression opportunities.

Employability Skills courses are part of the Headstart 16-18 Steps Towards Enabling Progression qualification and are accredited by NOCN.

Future opportunities

These qualifications are available at Entry Level 3 and Level 1. Further progression may be to a higher level qualification, Apprenticeship or Employment..
