Why choose Psychology?

Psychology is useful for a wide range of people-orientated occupations as well as in industry or business organisations. There are many avenues of academic and career progression which students of Psychology could chose to follow: Criminology, Teaching and Child Psychology to name but a few.

What does the course involve?

Psychology is the study of human behaviour and mental processes. Students will study the theories of great psychologists and learn to understand the various approaches and methods throughout the history of Psychology.

Students choosing to do the A level Psychology course will be examining human behaviour, thoughts and feelings from a variety of different psychological approaches.

Students wishing to take this course must be hard working, willing to participate and flexible in their learning approaches if they are to make the most of a deeply fascinating and important subject.

Entry requirements

GCSE Grade B or above in Maths and Science.
