Course description

What the subject is about: This course caters for students who have achieved a good pass at GCSE or equivalent in French. The course encourages students to further their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as study aspects of life and culture in the countries where French is spoken Through a variety of activities students will not only have the opportunity to become fluent linguists but will be given the opportunity to learn about the culture, politics and history of France. Students will be able to work on topics of their own choice in class and at home. Students will broaden their vocabulary and grammatical knowledge to consolidate their knowledge through structured exercises and tasks. Visits to France are encouraged as well as individual research for the oral presentation.
