Performance Industries Level 2 at East Kent College

Course description

Perfect if you want to develop your knowledge and skills in musical theatre, drama or production arts.

Course content

You’ll learn the art of vocal and physical performance and be able to demonstrate the skills you have learnt through live performances. You’ll also learn how to stage productions.You can look forward to putting on live performances in our state of the art Centre for Creative Industries. Building your confidence in performing and staging events.This Study Programme will include English and Maths at an appropriate level, and it will support the development of skills towards employability and suitability to progress onto the next level of study.

 

Entry requirements

You will need a minimum of four GCSEs at D grades or equivalent, including Maths and English. Students may be able to progress from Level 1 vocationally related programmes.

Assessment

You will learn through practical and written assessments and build a portfolio of work.

Financial information

If you are 16-18yrs old at the start of the Study Programme, it will be free. There may be additional payments required for trips, visits and other materials. For adult learners (over 19) financial support towards the costs of your Study Programme may be available. Eligible students may be able to get help with course related costs such as travel, equipment and childcare.
