Playwork Level 2 Apprenticeship at North of England Training Limited

Course description

Playwork is about giving children the time, space and independence to play in their own way and on their own terms. The role of a playworker involves providing environments and resources that allow children to experience freely chosen play.

Playworkers work in a wide range of settings including adventure playgrounds, out of school clubs, play centres, peripatetic play projects and hospitals. Playwork often involves working early mornings, evening and weekends because this is when children have the time to play.

It is a requirement to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check.
