Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) in Children's Care, Learning and Development at JACE Training and Assessment Centre
Children's Care, Learning and Development is a qualification for people who are looking after children aged between 0 to 16 within a professional childcare setting. The qualification teaches the key stages of children's physical, social, emotional, language and intellectual development. The Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Children's Care, Learning and Development is for those already working in a supervisory role within a childcare setting and who already have their Level 2 CCLD qualification or equivalent. A Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship can take approximately 18 months. We also offer Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships in Playwork suitable for those working within a breakfast, after school or holiday club setting.
Where appropriate, a level 2 qualification is an advantage however, no entry qualifications are required if candidate has equivalent grades or qualifications.
Successfully completing a Level 2 Apprenticeship will enable you to work as qualified Childcare Practitioner or Playworker within a professional childcare setting, and a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship could lead to you working within a supervisory position or ultimately a management role within a childcare setting. When you become a qualified child care practitioner, the possibilities are both exciting and endless. There are many different child care professions for you to choose from and to specialise in. Options include working in a day nursery or creche, within a breakfast, after school or holiday club, becoming a child minder, or even opening your own day nursery one day.
