Course description

Everything that is made or produced for our use or entertainment has been ‘designed’. Products as varied as chairs and magazines, sportswear and web sites have been ‘designed’. Usually the designer has studied Art and Design or some aspect of it. Following a course in Art and Design could be the first step towards an exciting career in the creative industries.

Entry requirements

 You need to be creative and open to trying new ideas Ability to draw, as this is the main way in which artists and designers develop and communicate their ideasYou will be interviewed for these courses and you will need to take some of your work to the interview and be able to say why you want to study Art and Design.
