Course description

This course covers a number of options within religious studies. It will focus on philosophy of religion and ethics. You will be encouraged to adopt an enquiring critical and reflective approach to the study of religion.

  • Unit 3: Ethical theories and practical religious ethics

Entry requirements

Religious Studies GCSE grade B or grade 6
English GCSE grade B, Mathematics GCSE grade B or grade 6
Science GCSE grade B or grade 6

Philosophy and Ethics A Level proves that you are able to think, discuss and evaluate effectively so is valued by both universities and employers. It is an excellent preparation for any humanities degree. It will particularly prepare you for a career in legal and medical services, journalism and publishing, education and social work, politics or the media.
