Have you heard of Dragons’ Den? Do you know what ‘Fair-trade’ is about? When you switch on your TV to watch the news the main stories are often about Business. There is no escape! And those stories can have a profound effect upon your life. This is your chance to discover the world of Business.

Entry requirements

You will need to have a minimum of 5 A* - C grades at GCSE to study this course. This course is ideal if you have an interest in Business and would like to develop a deep understanding of this fascinating subject area. It is not necessary to have studied GCSE Business, but if you have, you will need at least a grade C in Business Studies, however you should have at least a grade C in Mathematics and English.

Assessment

AS and A Level are now two standalone qualifications. Exams are a combination of data response, short answers and essay writing.

Future opportunities

Students will be able to study a range of courses at university and this A Level is also useful for careers in Management, Marketing, Accountancy, HRM and a range of other business careers.
