Design and Technology: Food Technology at BARR BEACON SCHOOL
Pupils design and make a variety of interesting and innovative food products. Manufacturing is supported through developing knowledge and understanding of nutrition and the chemical changes that occur during food preparation. Product development, industrial processes and food manufacture are key elements in this course. Assessment Coursework 60%, Written exam 40%
