Entry requirements

Entry into our 6th Form is based upon gaining a minimum of 5 A* - C at GCSE including at least a grade C in English and/or maths. BTEC courses will be taken into account in support of the 5 A*-C at GCSE. The minimum average points score for all subjects for entry into the 6th Form is 39.

Assessment

GE01: Global Challenges. Written Examination. 1 ½ hours long. 60% of AS grade.
GE02: Geographical Investigations. Written Examination. 1 hour and 15 minutes long. 40% of AS grade.
(Both of these exams take place in the summer of Year 12)

GE03: Contested Planet. Written Examination. 2 ½ hours long. 60% of A2 grade.
GE04: Geographical Research. Written Report. 1 ½ hours long. 40% of A2 grade.
