Business Studies at Heartlands Academy

Course description

Business Studies is all about how businesses work and how they relate to the world around them. Students study how businesses are set up, financed, organised and controlled. They also study how people are employed, managed and paid, how goods are developed, produced, sold and marketed.



Taking A level business studies is a great thing to do if you have aspirations of one day becoming self-employed or being in a managerial position. Possible career choices include management, marketing, finance, accounting, banking, retailing, manufacturing and local government.

Entry requirements

5 GCSE grades A* - C or equivalent (expected) including English.
