Course description

We offer a coherent course that takes a stimulating approach to Physics and will include: Electricity Waves and our Universe Fields and Forces Mechanics Radioactivity Thermal Physics Other students combine this subject with.... Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Psychology

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C including a grade CC in Double Science at higher level. Grade C at GCSE Mathematics is essential.

Future opportunities

Later you might want to study.... Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Architecture, Engineering, Computing, or Astro Physics at Higher Education. You could take this course to complement other advanced level courses such as Chemistry and Biology or to prepare for the A2 part of an Advanced GCE in Physics, which could lead onto higher education in a science related subject or more general higher education courses. With further training, you could go into a job related to Physics such as Science Technician or Electronics Engineer. The course will also help you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers across lots of industries are looking for.
