Level 3 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College
The BTEC Level 3 Certificate offers a specialist qualification that focuses on particular aspects of employment within the appropriate vocational sector. It is a qualification which can extend a learner’s programme of study and give vocational emphasis. It will prepare students to enter employment in the hospitality industry or to progress to university studies in Hospitality Management, food and nutrition.
It will give learners the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. It is equivalent to AS level.
At least four passes at grade C, ideally including a grade C in English language GCSE
