Professional Cookery C&G VRQ Introductory Diploma Level 1 at Tower Hamlets College
You will develop a broad understanding of the hospitality and catering industry, the importance of Food safety and develop the basic knowledge and understanding of the principles
of health and safety in the workplace. You will gain an introduction to healthier foods, kitchen equipment, personal workplace skills and professional cookery. You will learn how to prepare and cook food by boiling, poaching, steaming, stewing, braising,
grilling and many other methods.
All of the work takes place in our training kitchen where you will have the opportunity to prepare meals for sale in the Canary View Restaurant.
