Applied Business A Level at St Joseph's Catholic Academy

Course description

The Applied Business option looks at recruitment and selection of new employees as well as how a business could go about marketing a new product. This option has the benefit of having links to local businesses and employers so that we can work with them to make the qualification ‘real’ – we visit them and they visit us so that what goes on in the classroom has real relevance to what is happening in the business world.

This option is assessed by two internally assessed assignments and one externally assessed examination.
