Course content

This is the ideal course if you want to develop the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a future career in Business, or if you’re intending to apply to university.

The two-year Level 3 Diploma in Business covers various aspects of Business, from Finance and Economics to Marketing and Event Management.

During the first two terms of the course, you will study the Subsidiary Diploma in Business, which consists of six Units. The four mandatory Units are:-

- The Business Environment
- Business Resources
- Introduction to Marketing
- Business Communication

From the third term onwards, you can progress onto the Extended Diploma in Business, studying more specialist Units such as:-

- Accounting
- Marketing
- Economics
- HR & Recruitment

The Subsidiary Diploma in Business is equivalent to one A Level, and the Extended is equivalent to three A Levels.

Entry requirements

5 GCSE's at grades A(9) - C(4), must include English and Mathematics plus academically relevant subjects, i.e. Science, Geography, History.

Unit assignments and coursework.
