Hospitality Supervision BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at Guildford College

Course description

To study the Extended Diploma in Hospitality Supervision, you must have successfully completed the 90-Credit Diploma.

This qualification offers a broad study of hospitality and catering including chef training in our kitchens, hotel and restaurant supervision training in the restaurant and other elements such as HR, customer service and financial control.

  • Hospitality Business enterprise
  • Personal Selling and promotional skills in hospitality

  • Planning and Managing a Hospitality Event and Industry related project.

Entry requirements

To study the Extended Diploma, you must have successfully completed the 90-Credit Diploma in Hospitality Supervision.

Assessment

Assignments, practical projects, case studies and portfolio. Some external assessments.

Financial information

You will need to buy a uniform and some equipment for work in the kitchen and restaurant.

Future opportunities

On successful completion of the full Extended Diploma in Hospitality Supervision you could study the Hospitality Management Foundation Degree at the College or pursue a career in the industry.
