Electrical Programme Level 1 at Abingdon and Witney College

Course description

This course is designed for learners who wish to train or get an introduction into the electrical installation industry.

Course content

Bringing in more than £7 billion in the UK and growing, construction is a big business. It's challenging, and very fast moving, but also a fantastic place to be building a future career. This Level 1 Diploma in Electrical Installation will include studying electrical installation theory and underpinning this knowledge through practical workshop activity.

The fees shown below are those charged in 2015/16 and may be subject to increase for 2016/17. Don't forget that we have bursaries and loans available to help you with fees - call 01235 216298 for more information. For some courses clothing, equipment and registration fees may apply and will be payable to external companies. Only trips necessary to the successful completion of your course (compulsory trips) will be listed below, other trips and visits may be offered as part of your programme of study, these will be optional and fees will be collected throughout the duration of the course.

Future opportunities

Students can progress onto a Level 2 construction based course at the College or go on to an apprenticeship.
