Science (Applied) A Level at Queen Mary's College

Course description

The Applied Science AS will enable you to study the sciences from the way in which they are used. It looks mainly at how scientists work safely in laboratories and also within the Health Service using science to diagnose and treat illness and injury. This qualification leads on well from the Applied GCSE in Science and progresses onto Foundation degrees needed to become, for example, analytical laboratory staff in the Health Service. This course is for those who prefer to produce coursework rather than sit examinations.
