Course description

Level 2 (900559) or Level 3 (901184) available.
This course is for Staff working directly with children in a setting that provides freely chosen, self-directed play (out of school clubs, holiday play scheme etc).

Course content

The course contains mandatory units that include playwork principles, self-directed play, safeguarding, health & safety, positive relationships, personal development, working in a playwork team plus optional units to suit individual job roles.

Future opportunities

Level 2 could progress on to Level 3 
or HNC in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
