Professional Cookery Level 3 Advanced Diploma at Knowsley Community College
This course is designed for those who wish to work as advanced professional chefs in the catering and hospitality sector. You will develop your understanding of the hospitality industry and will learn, develop and practice the advanced skills required for employment and/or career progression in this industry.
- Supervisory Skills in the hospitality industry.
- Practical gastronomy.
- Cook and finish complex fish and shellfish dishes.
- Cook and finish complex meat and poultry dishes.
At least 4 GCESs or equivalent at Grade C including English and/or Maths, or relevant L2 vocational qualification and/or work experience in the industry and working at L2 English and/or Maths.
You will need a chef's uniform (whites), safety shoes and a set of knives.
Once you have completed this qualification, you may seek employment in the industry.
