Course description

Good customer service skills are essential in a wide range of organisations and this course will provide you with knowledge of what Customer Service is required and how to apply this to the Industry. If you want to gain an understanding of Customer Service policies and procedures and the communication skills required to effectively deal with different types of customers, this is the course for you.

The purpose of this qualification is to enable you to demonstrate through classroom based assessments, how well you carry out daily work activities and your knowledge of customer service related topics.

Course content

The course covers: How to deliver good Customer Service to different types of customers Organisational Customer Service policies and procedures The benefits to an organisation of a good reputation The qualities and attributes required in the Customer Service role The importance of responding effectively to customers’ needs, expectations and complaints The importance of different methods of communication used to deal with different types of customers.

You will need Level 1 Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills to undertake this course

Assessment

The course will conclude with a written exam
