Physical Education A level at Carlton Academy

Course description

Students will develop the transferable skills that are in demand by further education, Higher Education and employers in all sectors of industry. We encourage students to immerse themselves in the world of sports and PE with the chance to perform or coach a sport (through the non-exam assessment component) and delve into the how and why of physical activity and sport.

Course content

Studying A Level Physical Education will give you a fantastic insight into the amazing world of sports performance. Not only will you have the chance to perform or coach a sport through the nonexam assessment component, you will also develop a wide ranging knowledge into the how and why of physical activity and sport. The combination of physical performance and academic challenge provides an exciting opportunity for students.

GCSE Physical Education qualification C and above with very high practical sports results.
