Course description

Economics is a subject that deals with real world business and social issues. It attempts to explain the reasons behind the decisions we make as workers, consumers, managers and business owners. It is a subject that considers the role of the government and our relationships with other countries. Economics considers many of the important issues and concerns that face society today - issues such as employment, taxation, inflation, the environment, welfare and poverty

Entry requirements

Minimum of 5 GCSEs including a minimum of a grade B in GCSE Business or a Merit in the BTEC Extended Certificate in Business. If Business has not been studied previously then a grade B or higher in English Language will be required
