Course description

Aims of the course
To deepen knowledge and understanding of religion and the impact it has on
everyday life. This course attempts to answer some of the ‘Big Questions’ in
life e.g. who are we, why are we here etc.
What kind of student is this course suitable for?
This course is suitable for you if you:
· Have an interest in religion
· Wish to follow a philosophical or ethical approach to religion
How can I develop my full range of skills by doing this course?
As well covering advanced level study of Religious Studies, this course will enable
you to develop some key skills, which will be essential to you whatever
you go on to do afterwards The key skills you can develop during this course
are: communication, working with others, improving own learning and performance
and problem solving.
Development of these skills will help you with your learning as well as helping
you to move into higher education or employment.
