**DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE**
This course provides an introduction to the principles of book-keeping, and is a great starting point for someone unfamiliar with the practice. The financial side of running a business can be complex, and the knowledge you’ll pick up on this course will put you in a better position to stay on top of the accounts, whether your own or your employer’s . You’ll learn how to use accounting tools, become familiar with different practices and develop a fundamental understanding of book-keeping for a business.
You should allow for between 20 and 30 hours' study time, plus additional time for completing assignments. You will have tutor support for a period of up to 6 months from the date of enrolment.

This course is particularly suitable for anyone employed in a small or medium-sized business and no previous experience or qualifications are required.
It’s your choice: pay in full and discount your course fees, or spread the cost and pay in instalments. To pay in instalments, you will need to enrol by telephone.
Finance is not available for this course, however we can arrange for you to pay half of the course fees on enrolment, and the other half one month following.
