BTEC National Sport/Sports and Exercise Science (Level 3) at Queen Elizabeth's Academy

Course description

You will study 30 credits of units in Year 12 for the AS equivalent (at least 3 units). If you carry on for a second year you will study an additional 30 credits (at least 3 units) for the A2 equivalent. For Year 1 and Year 2 units are taken from the following:

Unit 05: Sports Coaching

Unit 06: Sports Development

Unit 07: Fitness Testing for Sport and Exercise

Unit 08: Practical Team Sports

Unit 09: Practical Individual Sports

Unit 10: Outdoor and Adventurous Activities

Unit 11: Sports Nutrition

Unit 11: Sports Nutrition

Unit 12: Current Issues in Sport

Unit 13: Leadership in Sport

Unit 14: Exercise, Health and Lifestyle
