Drama A Level at Northolt High School

Course description

This fantastic course allows for a creative and academically stimulating journey through the history of theatre, whilst studying of a variety of practitioners. With both practical and written components ALevel Theatre Studies demands the study of a diverse range of play texts,alongside exciting opportunies to experience live theatre. Students will gain a knowledge and understanding of theatre practice through their own engagement with the medium as both participant and informed audience member. Students will develop performance and/or production skills appropriate to the creation and realisation of drama and theatre.

Entry requirements

B grade in Drama and B grade in English Language.

Future opportunities

This course can lead to further studies or employment in a wide ranging area.It equips students with job opportunites in the world of theatre, media, performing arts, journalism, arts therapy and education. This A Level is a clear step to University , Drama school, or the world of work.
