Customer Service (Level 2) Apprenticeship at Central College Nottingham

Course description

This Apprenticeship teaches you the skills to provide excellent Customer Service and can be applied to hundreds of job roles across many different sectors. Most Customer Service apprentices work in retail, finance, call centres, hospitality or sport and recreation.

Course content

You will be dealing with customers face to face, in writing and by telephone. Resolving customer problems and improving customer relations, promoting the products and services of your employer, collecting customer feedback and making recommendations for improvements.

The Diploma in Customer Service contains mandatory units and optional units which are selected based on your job role.

You will also study Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 1 (exempt if you have achieved GCSE grades A* to C in the last 5 years). English and Maths are an essential part of your studies and will help you succeed on your course. These subjects will help you develop confidence and are the key employability skills that all employers now look for when recruiting.

Entry requirements

The programme is accessible to all those who work in a role which involves interaction with customers either in the public or private sector. You will need to demonstrate English and Maths skills at Entry Level 3 (assessed at interview) and be in a role that allows you to demonstrate the required skills to achieve the qualifications.

Assessment

Each unit is continually assessed. You present evidence of competence via practical assessments and production of a personal portfolio.

The Centre is also the base for the College's large International provision.
