Further information

This is a theory-based course and will not include practical work with horses within the College environment. You will need to undertake work experience alongside the course in order to improve your practical ability. Although the main focus of the course is on horses, a range of other species will also be covered to allow for comparative anatomy. An interest in all animals is therefore important.

Planned visits include trips to different equine businesses and guest speakers will include alternative
therapists and nutritionists.

This course should be combined with A Levels.
